LeBron James hailed the "phenomenal" opportunity to play with former Cleveland Cavaliers team-mate Kyrie Irving once again in Sunday's NBA All-Star game.
James led Team LeBron with 29 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists as Team Stephen were edged out 148-145 in Los Angeles.
Irving, who put up 13 points, seven rebounds and nine assists, departed Cleveland for the Boston Celtics in July last year in an attempt to shine out of the shadow of Cavaliers legend James, but the veteran was delighted to play with his old colleague once again.
"It was phenomenal. It was phenomenal," he said.
"Any time you're able to get back and play with one of your old team-mates, and as great as he is, we all know that. The flashiness, the ball handling, the ability to shoot, it was just great to get back on the floor with him. It was a great moment, for sure."
Cleveland's new-look side will look to extend promising form from before the All-Star break when league action resumes this week.
After their clear-out on the trade deadline, James remains bullish about his side's chances of a fourth-straight conference title.
He said: "Championships is what I play for, and along the way you're able to have... if you're able to have some accolades along the journey, then it's really cool, and this is one of them.
"We have a lot of work to do. We just added four new guys before the break, and we have a lot of work to do. So I really don't like to think that too far ahead.
"But obviously winning championships is what it's all about. That's what this league is all about and hopefully at the end of the road then I have the Cavs there to actually compete for one, to be in a Finals representing the East.
"So that's my goal. Getting back. I'm looking forward to getting back to our guys. I know they're excited, and that's going to be my mindset. But we'll see what happens."
