July 31 2018 5:51 AM

The Atlanta Braves have added a power hitting outfielder to their line-up following the arrival of MLB All-Star Adam Duvall.

Atlanta acquired Duvall from the Cincinnati Reds, it was announced on Monday.

Cincinnati received outfielder Preston Tucker as well as pitchers Lucas Sims and Matt Wisler in the deal.

Duvall, who is under team control through 2021, has registered a .205/.286/.399 slash line so far in 2018. But he has hit 15 home runs and tallied 61 RBIs.

The 29-year-old was an All-Star in 2016 when he hit 33 home runs and recorded 103 RBIs. He followed that up by belting 31 homers and driving in 99 runs last season.

Duvall made his MLB debut with the San Francisco Giants in 2014. He was traded to the Reds in July 2015.

Wisler holds a 1-1 record and a 5.40 ERA in 26.6 innings pitched this season for Atlanta. Tucker has registered a .227 batting average in 208 career games with the Houston Astros and Braves.

Sims has appeared in 20 MLB games over the last two seasons.
