Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen became the first player to open a NFL season with five successive 100-yard receiving games on Sunday.
Thielen made history as the Vikings upstaged Super Bowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles 23-21.
The 28-year-old has been Minnesota's most reliable pass catcher this season. He has recorded six or more receptions in every game and entered Sunday with a pair of touchdowns.
Thielen – an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota State – has spent all five of his NFL seasons with the Vikings.
